The workshop is presented by the Summer Guitar Workshop. It will be held on the beautiful campus of New Mexico Tech which is located in Socorro, New Mexico. Socorro is about 70 miles south of Albuquerque off I-25. The festival will be held from July 10-12. Tuition for the festival is $175 plus room and board. For more detailed information regarding costs look in the tuition header.
Students will participate in ensembles, technique seminars and a student recital. Beginning, intermediate and advanced classical guitar students are welcome to participate in the workshop. Faculty members will perform in concert on Friday and Saturday evenings. Classes will begin on Friday at 3pm and the week-end will conclude with a student recital on Sunday afternoon. Come join us for a spectacular week-end of music making in the beautiful campus of New Mexico Tech.
